These are most convenient in children’s rooms, because DVD’s can be easily installed for cartoons, kids’ movies while at the same time, is used for regular television viewing. There isn’t a great picture quality for these combination units, as the reason for these units is purely convenience, not so much the quality of the picture. Some of the more expensive 19 inch TV units, such as LG, Sony, or Panasonic do have good picture quality, but again, these are reserved for larger units.

If you are looking for a 19 inch HD TV unit, it is important to compare the TV’s in person while you are at the store. Ask questions to the sales person or an electronics expert. Because size is a factor, do not expect the same resolution from your television as you would if you had a 52 inch HD TV, because the displays are often adjusted based on size. Most high definition televisions give a feeling of a consumer actually being part of the movie, game or show, because the picture is incredibly crisp and clear. With so many options, you will be certain to find what you need.
